Main responsibilities

In the role as Digitalization and Project Manager, you will act as an advisor for digitalization and IT strategic questions within the Group Sales organization and be responsible for the Group Sales Digitalization Roadmap. You will be an important actor between our sales and production organisations as well as the customers, in the further development of solutions and digitalization. The role will work proactively to support and drive for efficiency and lean sales work, in Ovako’s Customer Relations process, by implementing relevant digitalization tools and increase the knowledge level of existing digitalization opportunities for the sales organisation. You will be responsible Project Leader/Business Demand Manager for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementation and on-boarding process in collaboration with business Unit, Sales Unit, IT and the customer.

The role includes identify customers for EDI implementation together with Sales Unit/Business Units and to present ongoing and planned projects to IT Advisory Board. 

As a project leader/business demand manager of digitalizing in Ovako´ s commercial division, you will track and follow-up progress and that all digitalizing projects are aligned with budget.

You will work both strategical and operational. The role will be a driver to lift the level of knowledge of different Group sales systems and increase efficient use them.

Qualifications

For this role, the candidate need to have a good level of Project Management skills. This includes experiences in project methods, proven experiences of IT projects, good knowledge of sales processes in a global company environment.

You should be able to explain and translate customer demands to IT department or partners, and work in close cooperation to find optimal solutions.

We would like the candidate to have experience of EDI implementations.

The role reports to Head of Sales Excellence Development, Group Sales.

Business travel within Sweden and abroad will be expected in the role. The work location can be flexible geographically, but will be at any of our Swedish sites; Hofors, Hällefors, Smedjebacken or Boxholm. There is also a possibility that you can work from the office in Karlskoga or Örebro.
